"These birds are made out of poplar wood. They have been drawn, sawed, sanded, their details burned (on the front and back), sanded again, painted with US made non-toxic water colors and then finished with bees wax and jojoba oil. The large bird is about 3" long and 2" tall. The little birds are about 1 1/2" tall by about 1" wide which makes them unsafe for children who still put stuff in their mouths. They are designs from the current Star House Folk Collection. All Star House Folk come with a cute little book of tiny drawings of the current Star House Folk Collection.
